Our Story

We are united in our dedication to minds transformation

L.E.A.D Transformation Initiative (LTI) was born from a deep and pressing burden — a burden to confront the realities facing young people and communities across Nigeria: rising unemployment, food insecurity, limited access to quality education, and a growing disconnect between people and sustainable living. For the founders, Titilayo Femi and Kemi Kings, these were not just statistics — they were everyday realities they witnessed firsthand. Young graduates without direction. Communities struggling to feed themselves. Agriculture seen as a last option rather than a powerful tool for transformation.

The initiative was established as a vehicle for social and economic transformation in Nigeria. Specifically, it began to transform minds, promote sustainable development, and implement Climate-Smart Agriculture. LTI identified several critical food insecurity, economic stagnation, postharvest losses, educational disruption, and infrastructure & financial gaps. The driving force behind our strategic shift and ongoing work includes the need for massive collaboration, combating the Pandemic’s “Menace”, empowering the next generation, and continental contribution

This burden became a calling. This gave birth to the initiative, L.E.A.D – Leadership | Education | Agriculture | Development

At Lead Transformation Initiative (LTI), we understand that meaningful learning cannot take place in environments where individuals feel unsafe, unheard, or excluded. That is why we are intentional about creating safe, inclusive, and empowering learning spaces across all our programs.

Our approach goes beyond physical safety — we focus on emotional, psychological, and social safety, ensuring that every participant has the freedom to learn, express themselves, and grow with confidence.

We believe that safe learning spaces are the foundation of transformation. By intentionally creating these environments, LTI ensures that every participant not only gains knowledge but also experiences growth, empowerment, and a renewed sense of purpose.
